Hello and welcome to class 9. We are in year 5 and our teacher is Miss Nicholson.
Mrs Vaughan and Ms Sanderson will also be helping us with our learning.
This year class 9 we will be working hard and learning lots of different
things. In our first topic we will be learning all about the history
of Ancient Egypt. In Numeracy we will be continuing to improve our
mental maths, multiplication and division skills. In Literacy we
will be working on our writing, particularly our spelling, punctuation
and grammar. We will also be reading a new class book and sharing our thoughts on it.
We will be having PE on Wednesday and Friday. Our PE kits need
to be brought in on Monday morning and then sent home on a Friday
or at the holidays. To keep improving our literacy we will be
doing spelling tests every week and reading our book every night.
I am looking forward to all the learning we will be doing together
in class 9. See you in September!
